Guest Book

Some of these are comments from the Guest Book hosted by the funeral home.  Please feel free to email additional notes to Sara at sgoldrickrab@gmail.com

Also, the family asks that anyone seeking to honor Geraldine consider making a donation to Lighthouse International, where for more than a decade she volunteered as a reader to the people with vision loss.

As an alumna of Northwestern University, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of Geraldine Youcha for your loss, as you grieve, may God the hearer of prayer as spoken of at Psalm 65:2 hear your prayers for comfort and grant you peace.

I will always remember Geri's quick wit and sparkling eyes; bagels and lox at the big dining room table flowing with great conversation. Geri's laughter when I stopped over and was so shocked to see my cousin in your home. Her many amaryllis blooming near the window.
May the love of family and friends embrace you.

Jerry has always been my role model, and I feel she is part of my fiber. I will always remember the time I watched her hop on a San Francisco cable car already overflowing with people. Without raising her voice, she somehow managed to persuade a bunch of rowdy folks to make room for two more, herself and me, as I scrambled up belatedly after her. I think her technique included the judicious use of two sharp elbows and a disarming smile.

Joe and Jessica,

So sorry for the loss of an extraordinary woman. Sounds like she was ahead of her time. May your memories bring you comfort. Sorry I never ran into her at Morgan House. I could have used her shopping tips. Love, Ellen & Randy

Honest, sincere, and well grounded. Always concerned about others. I didn't know about never shopping retail!
